The maximum contribution limit for a State Senate race in a primary election cycle is One Thousand ($1,000.00) dollars per person, but any level of support is greatly appreciated.
- Your contribution is not tax-deductible.
- An individual may contribute a maximum of $1,000.00 per election cycle. An election cycle is the period of a term of office beginning on the day after the general election for the office, up to and including the following general election for the same office. Contribution limits are for each primary, runoff, and special election.
- Contributions may be received from individuals, partnerships, businesses, corporations, or political action committees (PAC's).
- In-kind contributions may be received but are limited to $1,000.00 per individual or corporation per election cycle.
- Contributions by each spouse are considered separate contributions and are not attributable to the other spouse.
- Cash contributions are prohibited if they exceed $25.00 for each election.
- All cash contributions must be accompanied by the name and address of the contributor.
- Anonymous contributions are prohibited.
- Contributions may not be accepted by a registered lobbyist.
